Bobba Fett's show is 3 episodes in and it is disappointing all of the fans.....the reason is this....

The Mandalorian is doing everything that Bobba Fett should have been doing.

Jon Favreax put the Mandalorian together during the disaster of the last Star Wars trilogy.....Mandalorian was a long shot, and if it had failed too, then the other Star Wars shows would have likely been cancelled as well....as a number of them had been.....

So.....they took the Mandalorian, the Mandalorians were popular as a cartoon group from the Star Wars Rebels Cartoon.......and threw the Mandalorian into a show.......making him a bounty hunter instead of Bobba Fett...

Once the Mandalorian became successful, and they decided to do Bobba Fett, having Bobba Fett be the bounty hunter, which he actually was first, before the Mandalorian.....would have been repetitive......so they decided to make him a crime boss like Jabba the Hutt.....

Instead of casting a younger actor, they brought back the older guy to reprise his role......his is an older guy....he is slow, he moves slow, the fight scenes with him are slow......

The locatioin....tattooine, is boring....it is a desert....and we have been there over and over again.........the Mandalorian goes to places where they actually have plant life.

The side characters to Mandalorian are interesting....Bobba Fetts are boring....and the millenials on the brightly colored speed bikes look silly......

Bobba Fett could have been a crime boss.....after he being the bounty hunter that the Mandalorian is.....but it was too late to do that.......

Bobba Fett was originally mysterious......alleged to have this reputation as the most feared bounty hunter in the Galaxy...and now he is more of a community activist who refuses to kill anyone, even guys trying to murder him....

There is no mystery to Bobba Fett......he isn't dangerous, his is wimpy....

Just some thoughts....

No baby yoda.

There have been good stories about Boba Fett that could have made good television (a lot of action packed stories involving the other bounty hunters as well) but the Disney people refuse to use any of the books or stories that came before they took over. Until then realize how popular they are (Thrawn), then they co-opt them. Boba Fett, as an iconic character, deserves better than what he’s gotten so far.
