I was really into beer for about a decade and now I have lost all interest in beer.

I am really into rum right now.

I have not had bourbon in years, that might be worth a try though.

I don't drink very much anymore...but after manual labor on a hot day I crave an ice cold beer.

You should be able to get some Gosling Ginger Beer over there. If not, try powdered ginger from the spice aisle in ginger ale or better yet, add it to some Vernor's.

1 1/2 oz Malibu rum (coconut rum)
1 oz tequila
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz triple sec (orange liqueur)

So, we have replaced the Malibu with Hard Truth Toasted Coconut Rum and this drink got even better!
