6. Tennessee (eliminated its tax on interest and dividend income in 2021)
7. Texas
8. Washington (does have a long-term capital gains tax on certain high earners)
9. Wyoming

I don't vote the party so much as the policy. Whichever candidate is closer to my values gets my vote. It is generally a Dem, but not always. What I don't like is the GOP view, that if you don't vote the party line you should be primaried. For the Dems it is ideological purity, that the candidate cannot be a moderate (which is where most of America is).
