The inmate, Katelyn McGraw, is incarcerated at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, where she was sentenced following a conviction of possession of narcotics and jumping bail. She was placed in prison at the end of last summer, and her fiancee says he’s hopeful she will soon be transferred to a minimum security facility.

However, she recently began sending disturbing messages to her fiancee, Raymond Slater II, complaining about her cellmate, a transgender man named Mark Campbell, who also shares a bunkbed with her. McGraw told Slater that Campbell engages in “constant masturbating, sexual comments, and aggressive behavior,” which McGraw finds deeply disturbing. She recently asked Slater to find out what Campbell is locked up for.

Well, if the relatively normal inmate, doesn't go to the psycho ward, I guess she will get used to the (still intact) rapist (who repeatedly raped his own daughter, sometimes in view of her little brother) now wearing women's clothing, after a few times over the next year, until the guy gets the trans surgery ordered by the judge. Only in Wisconsin!

A federal judge (U.S. District Judge James Peterson) has ordered the state to provide long-sought gender confirmation surgery to a transgender female inmate, which would make her the first in Wisconsin to have the procedure while in state custody.
Peterson found that Campbell has the most severe form of gender dysphoria, in which the presence of male genitalia on her body causes particularly severe anguish.

He noted that it could take a year to schedule an appointment with the one qualified surgeon in the state, and suggested DOC could move Campbell to the main women's prison in the meantime.

Our form of government forbids "cruel, and unusual punishment". Criminal, or not, inmates also have rights, and protections. As such they should not be subject to to rape, and other forms of violence. Their sentences are that of incarceration. Not rape, and torture.

Democrats including judges (especially them) have lately showed an astonishing disregard for the law. Some of America's worst criminals are judges, prosecutors, and DAs.

If America is so obsessed with accommodating trans people, there should be separate bathrooms or prison cells reserved for trans people, who only account for less than 3% of the population nationally.

Gay culture started in Los Angeles in the 1980s. UCLA got it right with transgender bathrooms, which should be the standard for all government-run facilities.
