Majority of Americans wrongly believe US is in recession – and most blame Biden

  • 55% believe the economy is shrinking, and 56% think the US is experiencing a recession, though the broadest measure of the economy, gross domestic product (GDP), has been growing.
  • 49% believe the S&P 500 stock market index is down for the year, though the index went up about 24% in 2023 and is up more than 12% this year.
  • 49% believe that unemployment is at a 50-year high, though the unemployment rate has been under 4%, a near 50-year low.

Its puzzling but perhaps it proves the powerr of right wing misinformation. It also illustrates
the stupidity of many American voters. Perhaps if they paid more attention to the economy and less to banning books and stringing up trannys they might have more informed opinions.

Anyway it looks like many of them are about to make an act of nationa lself harm.
Take notes and names. USMBcon is gonna have some shit to answer for.

For them personally it is in a recession. All of their financial components are definitely receeding. Who is not? The top 5% which democrats claim to hate. Fact is most of the top 55 ARE DEMOCRATS.

It's not misinformation you misfit toy.....the misinformation is that the economic mechanics benefit most Americans. THAT's The Lie. People who are suffering financially don't like being told they are too stupid to know any better.

Funny how you didn't address the overwhelming concern of voters, Tommy! That would be inflation. The left is trying to tell them that they're "mistaken" about not having enough money to pay their bills because of the inflationary policies of the Biden Administration and people know better!

Never has the gap between rich and poor been more pronounced! Go figure... it's the Democrats doing! As the top 5% flourish the rest languish in rapidly approaching and encroaching poverty... and in DC: "ALL IS WELL! ".. let them eat cake!
