In order for me to vote under that bill, I would have to go get a US Passport. And I currently carry two IDs, one a state Drivers License, and the other my Military Retirement ID. About 30 years ago, I didn't have a state drivers license and tried to vote. They said I didn't have the required ID to vote. I contacted 2 Veterans Groups and got one hell of a long apology for refusing my vote with a Federal ID. I am back to not having enough to vote once again with both the State and Federal IDs.

You have zero idea what is in the "Save the Vote" act that the house passed but hadn't a chance of passing in the Senate. Here is just part of what it says. And you notice that the mention of a State Drivers License or Federal ID isn't proof enough.

This bill is part of a group of bills passed by the House and is in suspension in the senate. The house passed these bill with a simple majority. The Senate can't even get a simple majority.
