'Draining the Swamp' was always a deflection to keep the spotlight from the greasiest of the greasiest. I.E. himself and his cronies.

There is no swamp. There is no Deep State. Is there a bloated bureaucracy? Sure. But that can be fixed, departments can be combined and redundancy can be eliminated. But in some cases it is bad to combine and condense. I don't think anyone would say that we are better with a Homeland Security than we were before. We just didn't have the inter-agency cooperation that was needed - also fixable. But we lost something by not having agencies independent of each other, bringing different perspectives. Not just the perspective of an adulteress ex-governor of a nothing state, who has half a brain and shoots small dogs.

If the polls are so accurate, how did Trump lose with a higher approval rating in 2020 when it was higher than 2016 when he kicked Hillary's ass.

Seriously? Trump's disapproval numbers were higher than any president in recent history except Nixon. It has sunk even lower now. He was as unpopular as Bush and Carter and got whacked by Biden. The 2020 election was in November 3, 2020. Not January, 2021. On November 3, 2020. RCP had Trump's average approval among all the polls at 45.9%. Trump's favorability rating in November, 2016 was 37.5%. He kicked Hillary's ass. He was much more popular in 2020 than in 2016, so you're only option is to say Biden was the most popular of all time, which everyone knows is ridiculous.
