This is true. Not everybody with a college degree is a smart person but at the same time MOST smart people happen to have some degree of formal higher learning.
The Dunning Kruger effect seems to be strong in the MAGAt cult, where people with little to no real understanding of what makes the world work....politics, history, economics, etc..think they just "instinctively" know as much about these things as people who have been to school to study them.
In other words they want to claim knowlege the lazy way, without earning it.
They try to call it "common sense," as if it's something you are either born with or not. That's bullshit.
