I don’t expect any President to follow through on campaign promises. There two parties lie a lot to get elected, and they do what their fellow rich buddies want.

Candidates may make promises that because of things beyond their control they can't carry out, such as when their promise requires an act of congress, and they have no control over congress.

But the release of the Epstein files, and specifically his client list, is entirely under the control of the President of the United States, through the attorney general, who serves at the pleasure of the president.

Just like the JFK, and RFK files.

But the Jeffrey Epstein client list, that MAGA's have been promised, and they drooled over for years awaiting Trump's return. And now they're getting a big Emily Emily Litella "nevermind"

Again, Obama didn’t do away with the rich tax cuts day one, never did his day one promise to close Gitmo, that is what candidates do, they promise and then when the reality of their position sets in, they rethink their position.
