Exactly, in ANCIENT Greece and ANCIENT Rome. Periods in history where Christians had much less power if none at all. The next two thousand years saw intolerance and hatred against the gays grow as Christian influence spread. It was Christians spreading out over the world who taught those in India and China and in the New World to hate their own gay children. Just like many do today in this country.

I can never figure out how people can look at facts and say they simply aren't true. Even today, unless it's in big cities, the majority of gays in the south know that if they don't stay in the closet, what happened to Mathew Shepard could happen to them.
