As measured by the United States Census Bureau, the poverty rate under Joe Biden was 11.6% in 2021, 11.5% in 2022, and 11.1% in 2023. The average of those three years is 11.4%. The annual U.S. poverty rate has been BELOW 12.8% every year since 2016. So its impossible for Joe Biden to have a 12.8% poverty rate as an individual year or an average.

Trump inherited a grwing economy that was reducing poverty before he took office. Obama inherited a deep recession and rising poverty due to it. Biden inherited a similar circumstance then ended up being number one. This is evidence of the tremendous job Biden did and why we should have hired his VP who was there helping develop the strategy to reduce poverty to that level.

Not quite sure how the Census Bureau would have annual numbers since they do a census every 10 years. Then again, Biden/Harris has lied on just about everything....but I'm sure they wouldn't lie about the poverty rate.

There are homeless people all across America

There are people living with their mom and dad

Apartments are crowded with a dozen people

People rent individual rooms

Poverty is rampant across the USA

.

The United States Census Bureau also came back and corrected their headcounts in States like Florida, Texas, Minnesota and Michigan.

In most cases they were as much as half a million off in their simple headcount ...
And most of the miscalculations fell in favor of Blue States and the appropriately assigned Electoral Votes.

I am not trying to support a Conspiracy Theory ... Just indicating that whatever the US Census Bureau puts out ...
When they cannot do a simple headcount that doesn't require a correction upwards of a half a million ...
Then it might be a good idea to view whatever data they provide with a bit of skepticism.

Look who is back. The same dude who said we should lock down for 5 yrs when Covid hit. Get lost. Loser.

How do they determine the "poverty rate"? It seems that people who own a car and have a job and live in relative comfort can be deemed to be in poverty based on federal estimates. In the meantime we have junkies and drunks and homeless bums and illegal aliens shitting on the streets in mostly democrat districts that aren't even considered in the "poverty rate". Statistics can mean anything you want if you have a political agenda and ignore some facts.

True. It's more laborious to study data but you get a clearer picture. Statistics hides a multitude of sins.

Well, I'll tell you how. The United Census Bureau is the principle agency of the U.S. Federal Statistical System responsible for producing data about the American people and Economy. The U.S. Census Bureau continually conducts over 130 surveys and programs a year. One of these is the Official Poverty Measure (OPM) which has been calculated by the U.S. Census Bureau every year since 1959. The Official Poverty Measure (OPM) as calculated by the U.S. Census Bureau, is the annual U.S. poverty rate.

Biden inherited an economy ravaged by Covid. If it hadn’t been for that, he would have inherited a great economy as the economy was doing well under Trump up to that point

Something smells like fish….2+2 doesn’t add up.
This looks like that fraudulent jobs report a few months back.
We’re $36T in debt, the deficit spending is out of control, we have a homeless population larger than the population of some countries, credit card debt at an all time high, a middle class that can’t save a dime or get ahead and a hated convicted felon just won an election because people can’t afford shit.
Hmmmmmm?

True. Covid was the wrench in the gears of the economy and the effects are still being felt.

Sure, people can't afford anything but some how keep spending more. Concert industry is booming. Taylor Swift's tour grosses 2.7 Billion setting attendance and GROSS records, but supposedly the consumers can't afford to attend the tour.

The fact is, Business is doing well and growing, there is a labor shortage because unemployment is so low, the United States economy is expanding at the fastest rate since the 1990s, consumer spending is up across the board on vacations, concerts, dining out, and other forms of entertainment.

Equally important, voter turnout in the 2024 election is DOWN from 2020, a sign that many people did not care enough to vote. Typically when people are struggling, voter turnout increases.
