We've seen all of the posts here from the forum liberal apologists.. saying Katrina was much worse, Obama had to be invited by the Governor.. it's all a fucking joke...

And......... Louisiana wept while Obama slept.....

Louisiana officials: 60,000 homes damaged by flooding

From CNN:
(CNN) Many of the 30,000 people rescued from the flooding in Louisiana are staying in shelters, often with only a few possessions they managed to carry away from their homes.

They live in limbo, not knowing when — or if — they’ll be able to return to their homes or schools.

CNN talked to people staying in shelters in Baton Rouge. Here are a few of their stories.

Doesn't sound like anybody is going to blame Obama for that. My question is: why did they blame Bush for Katrina hurricane 10 years ago?

Another example of hypocrisy and double standards.

The Governor IS the official who requests federal aid. In every disaster.
That all happened a week ago, and he got it. It didn't make a lot of headlines because (a) that's the way it's supposed to work, and (b) neither the Governor nor the President is orange.

They're partisan Race-Baiter Democrats. That's why.

Must be mostly white folk homes. Hussein ain't givin a shit. Not enough to pull him off the golf course.

To do --- what?

Aye, there's the rub.

Perhaps he's expected to wave lo his mighty Teleprompter yea verily unto Shop Vac mode, suck up all the water and send it to California even though there's no drought.

Yeah, white folk homes ain't worth cancelling a whole golf game over.

Time to ignore these repetitive threads over Zip, Nada, Zilch.
The first twenty times, people tried to talk some sense into them....they know, they just don't care. It's all about the noise.

Maybe? Could have at least cancelled a few golf games though. Just sayin.

Thank goodness for these poor people that the relief and recovery is being handled competently.
Obama can't be bothered and Hillary needed a nap.

This is what Presidents are supposed to do.....and neither has walked the walk when a real disaster happens. All they're any good at is criticizing, not solving problems.

Far as I'm concerned all golf games everywhere forever should be cancelled. Worst idea the Scots ever had.

But that wouldn't fix my flooded house, now would it?

Only one of them is the President. And he sent the federal aid a week ago. That's what Prezzidents do.

You mean the governor got it right, unlike last time where she held off and it was blamed on Bush by the media? You mean the mayors didn't go on national tv and state they dodged a bullet while levees broke? You mean they took their jobs seriously? You mean the Army Corp of Engineers also took their jobs seriously to keep themselves and Obama from being blamed, unlike last time they knew the media would lay blame at Bush's feet, not theirs, even though they were ultimately responsible?

Uh .... nnnnnnnnnnnno I don't think she means that, or whoever it is you're talking to which is impossible to tell since you can't figure out how to use a simple quote.

In Katrina Governor Blanco requested federal aid on Saturday, two days before the storm arrived -- the same day I, as a typical resident, first even heard of the storm.

Second, the assessment of "dodging a bullet", if that's what he said, was correct, as the storm itself did damage but nothing like the extraordinary degree the levee breaks did. THAT is where all the devastation and flooding in the city came from -- had those levees held, Katrina would have been a minor footnote in hurricane history and we all would have simply returned home within a week, rather than October, which is when the first of us were allowed back in to a city that was even then still flattened, flooded, burned and completely without any kind of resources including electricity or plumbing.

And thirdly, the Army Corps of Engineers was determined to be at fault, in court, after it was all investigated.

Anything else? Besides lessons on how to use a simple quote feature, being the only asshat who can't figure it out?
