Louisiana lawmakers want Ten Commandments in all public school classrooms

Our kids always say the pledge every morning and only about one eighth don't stand. Pretty strong averagem

Typically the left wing anti-1st Amendment cabal failed to mention is that the bill would "allow" rather than "require" the Commandments to be posted on forbidden government controlled property.
Is it ignorance or lying? It 'allows' private rather than public displays. Either way, Whitehall is performing up to expectations.

HLS 24RS-255 ENGROSSED

We are living in a secular society that today that condones things like: criminal activity, likes war and is actively confusing children as to what sex they really are. Maybe it's time to teach them some moral guidelines.

No one condones criminal activity...unless you are a supporter of a certain spray tanned individual.
Maybe you should just practice what you preach and leave it to the children's parents.

Boss Hogg down in Loseiaanna wants to shove their "Christian" beliefs down everyone else's throat.

Btw, read the bill.

It would “allow” the state (school) to tell children the God they have to believe in
It wouldn't allow the school to tell children anything. It would be a freaking plaque on the wall that the Founding Fathers risked their lives and fortunes to create the 1st Amendment that democrats obliterated in one or two hundred years.

Thought you wanted stuff like this to be the parent's responsibility?

There is a difference between responsibility and telling people something as simple as

" listen to your parents, don't kill, don't steal, don't lie, don't fuck someone else's spouse, and better yet, don't desire to steal or fuck someone else's spouse."

Anything wrong with any of those?

That's a parent's job. Not the state's. You know, the whole Mom's For Liberty bullshit we constantly have to endure? The takeover of local school boards by the alt-right because of drag queen problems that don't exist? :)
So basically, you'll have the institution (the state) insert itself when it suits you.

Government brain-washing from a very early age.

The U.S. Constitution was written based on the writings found in The Magna Carta. It had nothing to do with the Ten Commandments or the Judeo Christian beliefs that you right wingers want the ignorant to believe the founding father's wrote it based on.

The authors of The Constitution wanted seperation ov church & state for the reasons you righties want religion shoved down everyone's throat, using public policy to achieve it.

If you righties don't like it, that's just too damn bad.

Why do you keep leaving bits out of it when you put it up for approval?

So instead of trying to educate our children to think and develop ideas so this nation can remain a world power. well, these idiots want to force stone aged crap on everyone and force another dark age.

Such bullshit should be in the fiction section

Those are basic morals anyone can agree to.

How are you comparing that to drag queens?

Nobody is forcing that down your throat. You don't know what you're talking about. Fact is, not everyone lives the same lifestyle you do.

Why are Pride events allowed in public schools but not religious views?
