Meanwhile, the supposed bereft Trump, taking a break from pretending to care, was caught on camera yukking it up at a Yankees game.

This picture is still being painted, with the usual results. Classic response, an "official" story line that is being established as the base line. Already people are chanting the buzz phrases from the press: scratchings on the cases, alleged clips form social media, interpretations from the talking heads. Forming sides before any real facts are presented, just the press reporting from the field. Resentment and actual hate is being established. That and more calls for thought policing to prevent the unpreventable (more trading freedom for pseudo security).
