Looks like gov-elect for VA is bad news for guns in VA. Will she go full commie and try to ban guns that hold over 5 rounds like dems dream to do?

Abigail Spanberger has sponsored bills that would ban certain types of assault weapons and has publicly vowed to sign legislation that bans the sale, purchase, or transfer of assault-style rifles if she becomes governor of Virginia. As a current U.S. Representative, she has cosponsored the Assault Weapons Ban of 2023 (H.R. 698), which aims to ban the manufacture, sale, transfer, or possession of semiautomatic assault weapons.

Followed closely by an assault knife and baseball bat ban.

Damn, and here I was working on a old Katana sword this evening. ;)
Unwieldy for day to day. I prefer the K-Bar under the driver's seat, personally.

It's an interesting sword, as best as I can tell it's very old but was broken at some point almost at the upper third of it's length. The break was sandwiched between two pieces of metal and reforged/tempered....Neat repair. Still sharp as hell.

But yeah, I keep a MK-2 Camillus handy in my vehicle.

When I got it the leather handle was completely rotted away so I replaced it with a set of M7 bayonet scales.

I had to lower the pommel about 1/8" because the M7 scales was slightly shorter and drill two holes in the shank of the blade. Worked-out well. :)

I had to replace the strap to secure it to the fiber MK-2 scabbard as it had been eaten away by mice.

The guard and pommel were rusty/pitted but I got them cleaned-up well enough to serve.....The sheath protected the blade for the most part.

Another day another down for America like a post being deleted but posters don't know why it happened. Rinse repeat. I'm out again//

Good selection for under the seat, and a very handy tool, all around.

Well, she's a CIA/Deep State plant. So I'm quite sure she'll push a radical anti-gun agenda. They so much want to disarm America to make their One World job easier.

About six-in-ten U.S. adults (58%) favor stricter gun laws. Another 26% say that U.S. gun laws are about right, while 15% favor less strict gun laws.
