Putin's little foray into Ukraine, is only going to hasten the rejection, on a global basis, of right wing ideology.
The Democrats in America won handily in 2018, after only a year of Trump being in office, and then reject him for Biden by landslide numbers, while taking back the Senate, in two reliably Republican states, and retain the House.
That is anything but rejection of the Democrats, by any metric.
But it's a different world now. It's no longer a Democrat/Republican race any longer. Even moderate Republicans reject the Trump wing of the party.
Democrats will surely lose races in future elections, as will Republicans. But far right ideology has been rejected by an overwhelming majority of America, Israel, Canada, France, a majority of the rest of Europe, and even a majority of Asia. Hell, even a large number of Russians don't support Putin. The truth be known, a majority don't.
