Brendan Malone is an NBA and basketball legend.Coached at Power Memorial Academy, an NYC basketball powerhouse where Kareem Abdul-Jabbar played, then was an NBA assistant for most of the next 30 years.
He was the first head coach of the Raptors in 1995 and assistant on the Bad Boys back-to-back NBA Champion Pistons where he helped design and implement the Jordan Rules.
He influenced so many coaches along the way. Michael has always spoken about how influential he was on his coaching and the Nuggets. They texted daily last season on the way to Denver's championship.
