This was trying to address the flight of stores fleeing the area because of criminal activity. The locals want Trader Joe's treatment at Dollar Store prices but still want the option to steal and rob at will. This is what that mayoral candidate in NY wants to do, privatize everything. How about letting these crooks run health care and schools, too? What's the worst that could happen, and we'd have some of that equity.
