The Philippines has the kinds of laws you religious fanatics want. Abortion is only permitted in cases of a threat to the woman's life.

Yet Filipinas have twice as many abortions per capita as American women do.

MEANWHILE, France not only allows abortion without restriction in the first 12 weeks, but the government pays for them.

Yet they only have 75% of the abortion rate of American women. Why?

I live in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in one of the most dangerous cities in the United States. I have been mugged six times, twice on the same night when I was nearly murdered. I have been robbed at gun point once. Blacks did it every time.

When I was nearly murdered a black woman who knew me and liked me stopped the attack at the risk of her own life and drove me home.
