As the knowledgeable members at USMB have taught me, our B2 bomber is the only aircraft in the world that could deliver the bunker busting bombs that took out the Iranian uranium enrichment program last night.
That our bombers and fighters protecting them were able to enter Iranian air space, get the job done and were on their way home before the Iranians realized what had happened testifies to the extreme capability and competence of our military. I am thoroughly proud. Not a single shot was fired at any of them.
President Trump, Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio and military officers have been quite clear we are not at war with Iran and do not intend to be unless they force us to be. We are at war with their unacceptable uranium enrichment program and capability of using it to produce nuclear weapons at will.
Iran was warned to get their people out of those facilities over the next two weeks. No Iranian people were targeted. There is no policy of regime change in Iran. Iran is offered peace and deals favorable to Iran if they are willing to take the offer. If they continue to export and implement terrorism--there would be no Hamas, no Hezbollah, no Houthis without Iranian backing--there could be more military repercussions.
As Marco Rubio said this morning, the choice for this attack was Iran's and Iran's alone. They've been playing American presidents/leaders for 40 years now and found out they can't play President Trump.
So far the majority of world leaders seem to be happy with the strikes, though nobody (including us) wants things to escalate.
The only group seriously angry about last night's operation are the American Democrats and a few woke Canadians who insist on being similarly deranged. But then they are angry at everything the current Administration does, most especially when it is obviously successful.
