Whites didn't invent welfare. It has always existed in some form or another wherever people have congregated. I know that welfare in this country was invented for white people for decades but you didnt come up with the idea like most things you lay claim to.

You'll find most conservative libertarian types, such as myself, are not against hand-up systems where people get temporary help targeted to get people back on their feet. There are a great many hand-up programs that are managed by local community organizations. Unfortunately our current system federal system is not a hand-up system it is a hand-out system. Hand-up systems are better but need to be managed locally. A federal check mailed from 2k miles away... there's no mentoring with an anonymous check. The feds don't measure their welfare systems by success, they measure the systems by the amount of money they hand out. The most successful welfare system would be one in which no one needs it. The current system is not sustainable. The honor system is not working.

A great many people on welfare never get off. Never getting off is not temporary. The welfare reforms put in place under Clinton have been turned off by Obama. This trend is not acceptable.

It only looks like a hand out system until you get up close and personal. Without a doubt people abuse the system but you cant shut it down to spite those few. Some people simply will never get off and I am ok with that as I know that is what happens in a capitalistic society. I can make all the money I want to but in return I have to give back to those less fortunate for whatever reason.

Huh? First you say it should be temporary, then you say you are ok with permanent welfare. Ok with handouts to people who will never stop putting their hands out. That's not capitalistic, that's socialism, marxism, out right theft of my income to buy votes from a massive wave of welfare frauds. Half the frigging country is on welfare. This crap that you now say you are ok with will destroy this country in a blood bath of violence, I guarantee it. This income redistribution is not necessary welfare, it's effing income theft. Hard working Americans being insulted to fund swine. No different than pissing it away. It effing sucks to know that my money is going to people who never intend to get off welfare. They laugh at us, call us dumb asses. Did you not see Obama's aunt angrily telling us that we owe her a living? Did she say thank you? Oh hell no, ... Not even a by your leave, just hey this is the way it is.

I've paid millions in federal income taxes, not any more.. Screw it. You want a hand-up? Come to my place and work for it. No more hand outs from this citizen.

You are basing your anger on something one person said. The concept of attracting more money to you depends on your ability to let it go. I cant explain it to you if you have not experienced it but somehow the less I worry about money and give it away to good causes the more money seems to find its way back into my bank account. Its unreal to see. For lack of a better word lets call it karma. There is a reason a lot of millionaires and billionaires have a rule for giving back. I struggled for years with this concept but finally let ago and sure enough it works.
