The Big Ten school everyone loved and wished would win championships in football was Purdue. I remember as a kid that name had mystique. No one knew where it was we just loved Purdue. And me being from Minnesota never had any misconception our gophers would ever amount to anything. We never realized how prophetic we would be on that.

GAH!!!! As a Hoosier I despise Purdue, I hate Purdue, Purdue is a cow college, but with that said my alma mater sucks in football....basketball is a different story

I am just thrilled to death it is the SEC and not the PAC 10 ruling college football or Miami or the other two Floridas (yes, I hate the gators too). The Big Ten were the power in football for much of the decades past though. At least Ohio State won the inaugural 4 team playoff in great fashion. The greatest play in SEC history was Auburn's return of the missed Alabama field goal for the title.

My kid played linebacker in club level football in college a few years ago so I pulled out an old instructional for him to review and selected a chapter on linebacker play. That's when I realized it was authored by Jerry Sandusky.

I checked this out. Could not find one as a major exclusive with the Hispanic race, but there are definitely majors in some of our esteemed universities where this is a major. I did not reference the cost, but 96K sounds like a bargain.

The great irony here is that the last time Indiana, Minnesota or Purdue every looked the least bit decent in football was in 1967 when all three tied for first place and the Big 10 title. 1967!!! Indiana got to go to the Rose Bowl because they had not been there the longest of the three. They lost of course. : )
