I live in the GOM and when opal hit we went without gas for weeks and we have the drills and the refineries but the storm put much of that out of business, so drilling for oil won't do shit unless you can refine it and ship it.

The shortages are due to this storm called Sandy that happened to roll through...maybe you've heard of it.

For years, the EPA has been up our asses here on the Outer Banks about spoiling nature and living on barrier islands.. Liberals have demanded our lands to be confiscated by Uncle Sam..
