The lesser of two evils argument, for us politically independent voters, got stale, a long time ago. There's just too many flaws in it, to be accurate. For one reason, it leaves no room for compromise. You're either this or that. Even when you break it down to moderates to extremist, it still doesn't tell the full story. And still places you on one side or the other.

This is a better example. If the circle was a clock face, you could say you're at 6 O'clock, or 12. Or 3. Or where ever you actually fit in. Instead of one side or the other.

It is all about degree of authoritarianism and the adoption of arbitrary positions.

There is no reasoning with fundamentalists who did not use reason to arrive at their positions in the first place, and doubly so when they insist on imposing them on others.

Huh, an actually useful political chart instead of the standard left and right. Noted.
