Liberals, what Tweet about Khan are you objecting to?

Yes, the fact the nominee of one of the major political parties felt the need to respond directly to a grieving parent of a dead war veteran when said speech wasn't even aired on network tv is pretty beyond the pale. It tells me that Trump is an idiot who is easily baited. It tells me as President he'd be an absolutely terrible Chief Diplomat and Commander in Chief.

There is absolutely no scenario where any person with a shred of dignity or sanity goes after a grieving parent directly. And Trump did.

Keep in mind this is only an issue because Trump made it an issue. If Trump had shut the hell up and moved on literally no one would be talking about this outside political forums like this. He's no genius. He's not even of average ability in dealing with people or thinking things through. Stupid mistakes like this one show that.

That you repeatedly can't come up with an actual quote shows you're full of shit and just can't pull the stick out of your ass. You're offended because you want to be
Quotes posted earlier. You've chosen to ignore it.

You've also chosen to ignore the bigger issue that Paul Ryan, John McCain, the VFW, and plenty of other folks across the political spectrum have mentioned: "YOU DON'T GO AFTER THE GRIEVING PARENTS OF A DEAD VETERAN."

Trump is the reason we are taking about this today instead of bad financial news that should have hurt Hillary. Trump. He owns this.

You gave a bloviated pontification of the story. I asked you just for quotes that Trump said that offended you. Are you saying the Trump quotes in that exchange offended you?

Here is the only Trump quote I could find from you. "If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably — maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say. You tell me."

That offended you? Seriously? Even after it apparently turns out he was right?
Simply put. Yes. It's a pretty serious attempt to undercut what he said by using religious/racial stereotyping. It's also demonstrably untrue and if you spend longer than 30 seconds on Google you can find her response to Trump's allegation.

Again, it's a stupid pointless attempt to profile the Khan's FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. No one watched their speech at the convention outside the hall. Outside a few places on Twitter no one was talking about it. Trump is the one who started this. It was an absolutely stupid move.

Let's get this clear. Hillary is a loser. She's probably the worst candidate since Kerry. She's arguably worse than Kerry. She's a pretty clear loser candidate who in any other campaign would be doomed to lose and lose spectacularly. Why is she winning in every prediction model out there? Why is she ahead in nearly all the polling averages? Why is she ahead in the betting markets?

It's because Trump is TOO STUPID to not step into situations a person with even an ounce of dignity or intelligence would step into. He crossed a line going after a grieving family of a dead war vet. If this were literally anyone else, Republican or Democrat, we'd be prouncing the time of death of their campaign right now.

You want to pretend it's not an issue, but clearly a lot of folks all over do not agree with you on this. YOU DO NOT GO AFTER GRIEVING PARENTS. You don't. You just don't. If Trump is lucky he shuts up and this blows over in a few weeks like his McCain comments (which should have ended his run), his comments on the disabled reporter (which should have ended his career), or his comments on the federal judge (which is such an amazing blunder legally for a private citizen to make).

So the best ... and only ... example you have of Trump "going after grieving parents" is to ask if his wife was allowed to speak. And apparently he was right, she wasn't. Maybe he did his homework first? OMG, hang the bastard. You just want to be offended. The Democrat party wants to be offended, the liberal media wants to be offended.

Khan: Trump hates Muslims, he's never read the Constitution, Trump has sacrificed nothing for his country!

Trump: Hey, is your wife quiet because she's not allowed to speak?

You: OMG, he went after a grieving family! They were grieving in the privacy of the Democrat convention attacking Trump for their son who died 12 years ago. He just wants to be left alone!

You're a ridiculous little man in a ridiculous little party. The party who also said Trump in mocking Hillary was seriously asking the Russians to hack the server that was shut down over a year ago ...

Begging the question. My argument is that he didn't go "after a grieving family for no good reason." You're assuming the truth of your own position. Textbook example.

Khan did attack Trump and in a highly public and partisan venue, his child died 12 years ago not recently and Trump's "attack" was virtually non-existent. Is his wife allowed to speak? That is the ONLY quote you came up with. Wow, what a devastating attack [/sarcasm]
Why have you become such simple and silly dope? You are actually lecturing about the appropriate grieving time for parents of deceased children. 12 years and in your sick mind the parents should be over it. You are going full retard. Go see your doctor and review your medications.

Hey, you're the one justifying going after a grieving family for no good reason

Khan did attack Trump and in a highly public and partisan venue, his child died 12 years ago not recently and Trump's "attack" was virtually non-existent. Is his wife allowed to speak? That is the ONLY quote you came up with. Wow, what a devastating attack [/sarcasm]
So you're saying "He went after me so I can go after him?"

Keep in mind, the Kahn's aren't politicians, or millionaire donors, or journalists. They're simply a pair of parents grieving a lost son. Are you really saying that the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief, Chief Diplomat, and Chief Exectuive of the United States should respond and go after any person who gets on a stage and goes after him? If so, I think we're done here because that's one scary proposition.

Part of being a leader is knowing when to leave a situation alone and take the lumps. There is absolutely no good reason to have gone after the Khans. Not one. Far worse than what they've said has been said by other folks about Trump. If you watch the speech the Khans are clearly a family still in the grip of deep lasting grief. Anyone watching that speech will see that the Khan's are barely rational in their grief. When a decent human being sees that they offer condolences and let the behavior slide. Prior to Trump going after them chances are good that the Khan's would have been largely forgotten about.

Instead he goes after them. His initial quote is ridiculous but he's the one that keeps brining them up. It's an idiotic move.

So again, what is the "great" reason to go after the Khan's? If it's "because they went after him" then you're advocating the kind of petty retaliation that is the hallmark of bullies, strongmen, and despots.

Any quote? That's just stupid. So you can't find a single objectionable quote, so you go with any quote? That's just stupid. You've been shooting off your mouth, show an objectionable tweet from Trump on Khan, one that makes the criticism you're participating reasonable.

You're showing again you're the stick up your ass party?

Trump didn't start it. He was asked a question and responded. His response was going to receive the same critque no matter what he said. As with everything Trump says. But crooked Hillary goes on Fox news and lies her ass off about lying and were is the news reporting that keeps that front page for a week?

They wanted the country to know what their son and they had sacrificed for the nation in the midst of Trump's disparaging insults aimed at Muslim's like them......and their hero son.

Hey, you're the one justifying going after a grieving family for no good reason

Begging the question. My argument is that he didn't go "after a grieving family for no good reason." You're assuming the truth of your own position. Textbook example.

Khan did attack Trump and in a highly public and partisan venue, his child died 12 years ago not recently and Trump's "attack" was virtually non-existent. Is his wife allowed to speak? That is the ONLY quote you came up with. Wow, what a devastating attack [/sarcasm]
So you're saying "He went after me so I can go after him?"

Strawman. I'm saying Trump didn't go after Khan

Trump didn't start it. He was asked a question and responded. His response was going to receive the same critque no matter what he said. As with everything Trump says. But crooked Hillary goes on Fox news and lies her ass off about lying and were is the news reporting that keeps that front page for a week?
There's a really easy way to handle being asked: Thank the Khan's for their son's sacrifice and move on. Done.

Trump's response is like answering your wife when she asks if she looks fat. Your response in your head may sound reasonable, but if it's anything other than "No." you're wrong. You just are.

Implying that Khan's wife wasn't allowed to speak when asked about what the Khan's said is just stupid and idiotic.

"Mr. Kahn, who has never met me, has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have not read the constitution..." Donald Trump

If Trump had read the Constitution and grasped it's meaning he would know that the 1rst Amendment gave Mr. Kahn the right to suggest Trump had never read the Constitution. Ya, Kahn had a right to make the comment and his son paid with his life protecting that right.

:wtf:

You think that's a vicious attack on a grieving family??? Seriously?
Well, the Gold Star families and the countries largest war veterans organization thought it was vicious enough to offer official statements and letters of complaint. Don't worry how I feel about it. I'm just agreeing with those guys and disagreeing with nit wits like you.

He asked if his wife was allowed to speak. And OMG, said Khan said he hadn't read the Constitution (he did say that).

Do you remember what you assholes said about Joe the Plumber? What a bunch of lying hypocrites you are.

You are offended because you want to be offended.

I'm not voting for Trump. I've started like a dozen threads against him. But I oppose him for his policies, this is just stupid shit you're pulling.

But hey, you have one of the worst candidates in history, I guess it's what you have to do to get her elected

Except he did. He made a specific implication about Khan's wife. He later tweeted about Khan more than once. He did call them out and it was stupid. So again, what justification do you give for making allegations about his wife? What justification to you give for addressing it the Khan's at all? It was dumb and tactially stupid to do it, even when asked by Stephanopolis about them and it violates one of the most basic human tenates we have: "Don't go after grieving parents."

Why have you become such simple and silly dope? You are actually lecturing about the appropriate grieving time for parents of deceased children. 12 years and in your sick mind the parents should be over it. You are going full retard. Go see your doctor and review your medications.

Apparently he had grieved long enough to go to the partisan DNC and attack Trump.

You WANT to be offended. That's why you are offended

Here's a tissue. I thought Hillary was the one mocking Trump for being too thin skinned to lead. Are you saying your side is even worse?

This might be an argument maybe if Trump had attacked Khan. But we both know he didn't. That's why even you didn't want to post the lame crap you did

There was an easy solution for Khan. Say American Muslims serve this country too and move on.

What Trump said was so tame though that even you knew it was too lame to post as an attack. That's why you kept evading it and going with stick up your ass shit instead
