The anger in this country is clearly increasing rapidly. It's being caused by inflammatory public rhetoric. The fact is, the rhetoric from both ends of the political spectrum is terribly harmful.

You haven't looked at the 2026 senate election map.

The Democrats need +21 seats to get the 66 necessary to remove - but you could say 4 Republicans will vote with them, so they only need +17.

It gets one or both sides of Congress in Democratic hands to thwart Trump's tyrannic moves, and same to same at the state level. See 2018.

None of this does anything to address the threat Trump poses to the US, as described in the OP - the House can;t shut him or or get rid of him, nor can state legislatures.
