Liberals at it again: Pretending Fascists are somehow "right-wing" instead of the hard left they are

There's that willful blindness kicking in. :laugh2:
Translatin: I cant name any meaningful differences because I am wrong. So I'll attack instead.

Yes, yes. we know.
To understand Fascism means you would lose, so you don't.
I await your definition.
Close enough for government work: What exactly is fascism - HowStuffWorks
Still, there are some basic principles that can identify a Fascist movement:

  • Absolute power of the State: The Fascist state is a glorious, living entity that is more important than any individual. All individuals are part of the State, but the State is greater than the sum of its parts. All individuals must set aside their own needs and supplicate themselves to the needs of the State. There is no law or other power that can limit the authority of the State.
  • Survival of the fittest: A Fascist state is only as glorious and powerful as its ability to wage wars and win them. Peace is viewed as weakness, aggression as strength. Strength is the ultimate good and ensures the survival of the State.
  • Strict social order: Social classes are strictly maintained in order to avoid "mob rule" or any hint of chaos. Chaos is a threat to the State. The State's absolute power and greatness depends on the maintenance of a class system in which every individual has a specific place, and that place cannot be altered.
  • Authoritarian leadership: To maintain the power and greatness of the State requires a single, charismatic leader with absolute authority. This all-powerful, heroic leader maintains the unity and unquestioning submission required by the Fascist state. The authoritarian leader is often viewed as a symbol of the State.
Hmm, let's see. Did Hitler and Stalin both talk about the power of the state as unlimited? Yes, they did.
Were Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany aggressive in foreign policy? Yes, they were
Did both maintain striuct social orders? Yes, they did.
Did both have authoritarian leaders? Yes they did.
So they are more similar than dissimilar.

Now let's turn to Progressives.
Do progressives believe in the absolute power of the state? Yes, they do. Recall Kagan unable to say if government could or could not force people to eat broccoli.
Do progressives believe n waging war? Yes. War on Poverty, War on Climate Change, etc.
So progressives believe in struct social classes to avoid chaos? Yes. How many times are we told if we cut welfare mobs will riot?
Do progressives believe in authoritirian leadership? Is that even a question?? We have people here cheering Obama on to dissolve the Supreme Court and Congress.
Progressves are pretty much authoritarians like Communists and Nazis.
Thanks for posting the link to prove it!
You were doing fine until you hit this part, "Now let's turn to Progressives.", after which nothing but nonsense came out, but then again I'm a Liberal Elitist, like the men who founded the place, and therefore don't care very much beyond what you hate in this case you'd be just fine with, as long as your side was in power.

Fascist are Fascists, and generally right-wing, for motherhood and apple pie. Now you know.

I liked this definition of fascism.

fascism
The only official definition of Fascism comes from Benito Mussolini, the founder of fascism, in which he outlines three principles of a fascist philosophy.
1."Everything in the state". The Government is supreme and the country is all-encompasing, and all within it must conform to the ruling body, often a dictator.
2."Nothing outside the state". The country must grow and the implied goal of any fascist nation is to rule the world, and have every human submit to the government.
3."Nothing against the state". Any type of questioning the government is not to be tolerated. If you do not see things our way, you are wrong. If you do not agree with the government, you cannot be allowed to live and taint the minds of the rest of the good citizens.

Sounds like Obama's America.

The President's executive orders are accountable both to Congress and the Courts.

I'm not surprised you don't know that.

Democrats and other leftists have always legislated against the will of the people. And they have depended on lies and misdirection to get away with it, trying to persuade people they aren't doing what they're doing. Or that conservatives would somehow be worse. Everything from "If you like your health plan you can keep your health plan" to "Our plan will lower the costs of <whatever>" to "Well, Republicans do it too, trust us!"

One of the latter has popped up again, as it does every few years. A nationally known college-test-prep manual has announced that Fascists are "right-wing", despite their signature tendencies to use big government to take over and run things (a wholly leftist characteristic).

And in the same breath equated conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas with the Ku Klux Klan. Never mind that Thomas himself is black, and has opposed the Klan with every fiber of his being since birth, as they have opposed him. Nor the fact that the Klan was founded by Democrats, staffed and supported by them for a century or more, and remains majority-Democrat to this day.

Normal people with a sensible grasp on reality know the facts, of course, and regard such silly lies with the contempt they deserve, if they pay any attention to them at all. But these latest fibs appear in journals aimed at young people - high school students in fact. Another signature trait of the Left, is to inculcate young people who haven't yet learned the facts, with lies such as these to generate a loyal (if misguided) voter base.

Well, they're at it again.

And so the battle of truth vs. lies goes on. As long as the leftists keep telling lies, conservatives have to remain at war with them, whether they like it or not.

The good news is, liberals have to lie, and risk getting caught and exposed, to promote their unwanted agenda.

While all conservatives have to do, is tel the truth about what conservatives want... and point out the truth about what the liberals are doing.

While enduring complaints that it's disgraceful how acrimonious politics has become, and how we should all get along instead.

Barron's AP Test Prep Guide: Clarence Thomas Is A Fascist In League With KKK

Posted Monday, March 9th 2015 @ 9am by Eric Owens

The latest version of a top-selling study guide for the Advanced Placement European History exam explains the French Revolution with a chart which identifies Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas as a fascist and pairs him with the Ku Klux Klan.

“Barron’s AP European History” (7th edition) makes the claim, intended for consumption by American high school students, on page 168. The chart attempts to compare modern American political affiliations with the various factions involved in the French Revolution.

The chart moves politically from left to right.

The far right of the chart is labeled “fascist.” The authors demonstrate modern-day “fascists” by pairing “Clarence Thomas and the KKK” in the same box.

Barron’s typifies the far right during the French Revolution with “wealthy people who fled France.”

The far left of the same chart is labeled “Communist.” For the French Revolution, “poor city dwellers” represent the far left. For today’s politics, the authors choose “anarchists.”

The chart as a whole is convoluted yet crudely, embarrassingly simplified.

The definitions the authors use for the middle parts of their political spectrum (“leftist,” “liberal,” “moderate,” “conservative” and “right wing”) are dubious.

For example, they describe “conservative” as “those against change/most Republicans.” They describe “liberal” as “those in favor or gradual change…most Democrats.”
lol
