Liberals are supposed to think, but US liberals only parrot

US liberals are not liberal. They aren't thinkers. They do not tolerate dissent. They parrot lies and hate those who out those lies as lies.

Global Warming is probably the greatest example. Here we have something liberals "believe" because they validate Joseph Goebbels.... while having ZERO ability in science - right Mr. DiCaprio?

If there is a problem, the "solution" is always MORE GOVERNMENT SPENDING.

If there is an accusation of racial bias, it is true, if it is against a non-liberal, no matter what the "evidence" is.

WHY are American "liberals" so closed minded, so misinformed, so utterly devoid of intellectual curiosity?

Um....you do realize that "liberals" are incapable of making an intellectual case. Progressivism is emotional. That's why they are irrational and implement failed policies. Because everything is based on emotions instead of logic and reason.

Several months ago I tried to talk about true liberal ideology, and I brought up John Rawls and John Stuart Mill who just happen to be the most influential and famous liberal political philosophers of the 20th and 19th century respectively. Not a single poster here who self identifies as liberal gave them any credence, most had never heard of them and to a person, they actually ridiculed the notion that there are any philosophical underpinnings to the ideologies involved. They actually seemed proud of their ignorance and refusal to display any intellect.

We need a new term for this new authoritarian left because liberal they are not.

In a way, politics reminds me of cooking. Some people follow a recipe to the letter and imagine themselves as chefs. The true chefs understand the principles and processes, however, as they seek understanding in such a way as to apply such understanding to their craft. Similarly, these extraordinarily dogmatic leftists have no interest whatsoever in understanding WHY something is or is not liberal -- they merely want a recipe to follow that provides them with the smug satisfaction that theirs are the only correct and allowable views.

Goodness, if you told these numb nuts that liking dogs was a conservative trait, the good majority would kick a few puppies to the curb just to make sure.

Earlier this year it was revealed that upon his leaving the presidency the Obamas will not be returning to Chicago they will instead be moving into a $6 million, 8,200-square foot, 9-bedroom 12-bathroom mansion in Kalorama, one of the District’s most posh, desirable and exclusive neighborhoods in the heart of one of America’s wealthiest zip codes

With daughter Malia off to college that leaves just Barack, Michelle and Sasha until the younger daughter graduates high school in 2018. Nothing says “I care about climate change, energy consumption and our CO2 footprint” more than keeping an 8,200-square foot house heated and air conditioned year round …for just three people. The hypocrisy and “do as I say not as I do” hubris of all these wealthy climate change proponents is sickening. By the way, the Obama’s new home is just two doors down from Clinton campaign manager, John Podesta, who recently lost the most significant campaign of his life.

One of the things Trump and Sessions must do is audit Obama and Holder, their families, to see how much they got selling out America for so long. Holder made millions not prosecuting rich people who just paid the Dems and him..
