Before the left takes credit for this, because the term liberalism was used, guess what, you don't own the term liberal and never did. The application is a misnomer, and the term mostly doesn't apply to the left today.

However back in the day when entertainment was AWESOME, left leaning Democrats were responsible for most of it. What a great thing it was, look at the music, Hollywood, TV & comedy. That entertainment peaked somewhere in the 60s-80s.

And then came silicone valley and Chinese trade, boy did that **** shit up long term right.

So while left Democrats were responsible for building most of it, as you can see today, left Democrats, "progressives" have destroyed all of it. Here's just a small sample why that is.

No, they were ALL liberals to an extent,, that's part of my point. Are you saying they weren't leftists? Fine, that's different. Democrat does not equal liberal, it's a misused term, leftists apply improper terms to themselves all the time, especially today.

My father and great uncle were in the entertainment bus. Both registered Democrats. One a heavy in the business, and nearly all of their associates were Democrats. They produced great WHOLESOME stuff. They often worked with and supported Republicans. They have nothing in common with today's leftists, not a shred beyond the fact both registered Democrat.
