At least the LGBT community, even if it is a small binary (or non-binary) subset of the community, understand why the 2A is important, to protect all citizens from Gov't Tyranny. One day, the left will realize that the 2A protects their right to be 'left' and have the rights they vote for. And maybe, when that day comes, they realize that the true threat is themselves, and then will go after the majority of all gun crime, and that is the left controlled big cities that have rampant gang and thug crime.
