I wonder this how many kids have been taken to a parade with tanks, and missiles and marching men all in a row, with rifles on their shoulders and others carry a nations flag, react to such a show.

Does this influence their future behavior? Or, are they made to believe the marchers will always look smart, clean and finish a parade looking this way when they return from war?

Maybe we should ask why aren't the last marchers in wheel chairs with missing limbs, or empty coffins covered with our flag paraded in the final column?
