Let's see if we can nip this one in the bud.

I was wondering when I'd see the first use of the twisted rationale,

I suggest you first re-read your full OP .
My view is that it is an excellent example of convoluted mumbo jumbo .

You simply produce an isolated single premiss that is chosen to suit your pre-determined conclusion .

That is Cheating .

You then add injury to insult by a further attempt at Deceit .

You conflate something of the past --- mass illegal entry--- with something for the future , that could involve all legal newcomers -- a path way to citizenship .

Thoroughly Dishonest if deliberate .
Amateurish if unconsidered

Right. When your assumptions get challenged resort to a derivative of "fake news."
My assumptions were never challenged.

If you actually were credible, you'd see that in the past 6 elections, exit polls, and truly, actual elections results, have differed greatly from what was assumed. Those assumptions were made on the basis if 'exit polling' which found not only bias by the organs of the Democrat party, but it was often wrong.

I've never held an assumption about exit polling because they have always been ignored on My part for the actual polls after the election.

What IS being challenged is your assumptions that the people actually didn't vote for Trump because of x or y, or z.

Now, if you have an actual line of contention about this election, state it without the use of unofficial rumormongering.

All the exit polls show the key factor in the election was inflation. Not social wedge issues like the trans debate, gun control, the environment, or abortion. On the last three issues the majority stands with Dems.

"All the exit polls..."

Lol

My goodness, please stop. You're embarrassing yourself. I hate to see you flailing and grasping so desperately. It hurts to watch.

Presenting the facts isn't embarrassing. You failure to refute them is.

What you have done is give vent to your grief. Nothing valid in that except to you.

Have a nice day.
You are welcome to disagree with me. But one would hope you'd be able to substantiate the reason why. Maybe next time.

I was wondering when I'd see the first use of the twisted rationale, "everything trump does is supported by the people because a majority voted for him." I just saw it on another thread.

When people voted their pocketbooks with misdirected anger over inflation do you really think it was a tacit approval of trump seeking to bypass the "advise and consent" function the Senate traditionally performs and allow him to name cabinet appointees without confirmation hearings? Do you think they said to themselves before voting, "I'm completely on board with trump's violation of the law by not signing the ethics pledge he is required to sign."

I mean, you folks do realize a number of down ballot issues in various states saw voters oppose trump's position and oppose candidates he endorsed, right? You can't be so silly as to think frustration with inflation reflects support for his entire agenda, do you?

So they next time you have the urge to defend some reckless, illegal, unethical thing Don proposes by saying the majority is with him, resist the urge.

You are in full spin mode.

Do you feel confident that a majority of low-information voters even understands what "Pathway to Citizenship" means? To put things into context, 66% don't know where Ukraine is on a map, 53% can't name the three branches of government, 26% can't name any of the protections in the First Amendment (~75% could only name Freedom of Speech), and 51% believe Facebook is required to permit individuals to freely express themselves.

The exact details? Not likely. The basics? Yes.

312-226, red house and senate.

Yes.

No because that did not happen.

It reflects willingness to accept his agenda as the alternative to the disaster that we had under Democrats. If your Party fail to recognize that basic fact, it will be in the minority until it withers away.

Then why did they not overwhelmingly vote in Democrats instead of overwhelmingly giving Republicans control of all three branches?
