When the party actually gave a damn about the people and wanted beneficial stuff like UHC, while keeping Big Banks under control, Big Pharma under control, fighting the establishment, that kind of stuff. Those days are gone and the party has become corrupted by the Big Corporations it once fought against.

I'm not so sure. RFK is taking the fight to Big Pharma and Trump is making important first attempts at draining the swamp. Note that RFK and Trump are old school democrats that no longer fit into the current democrap party. What they are doing may not be overwhelming, but it is certainly more than anyone has tried since Carter. We must always remember that America has almost 250 years of government corruption baked in; undoing it will be very difficult and someone has to start the ball rolling.
