Left-Wing Terrorism Hits 30-Year High

Has it? You're not making a good argument about it.
2 attempts on Trump Kirk murdered, 7 trans mass shooters,3 Christian schools children killed by trans killers, ANTIFA riots funded by democrats, one non binary mass shooter, 2 anti semitic killers one killed 2 Jews and the other killed a man at a wedding, and lets add the widespread support by democrats and progressives for Kirks murder.
Its not even close. As the nation rejects progressive policies they become violent triggered by the hate speech from democrats.
Thanks for asking

Again, you're not making a good argument.

Sorry if you think posting a list of things if enough. But it's not.

The number of politically motivated killings has increased in the past 3 years at the same time democrats are losing power and their hate speech has increased. Thats not an accident.
Youre not making an argument at all.
I made a statement and used actual examples to make my point.
Denial is not an intelligent argument

You do realize that you have to show how many politically motivated killings there were before, prove they were politically motivated, prove they were somehow "left wing" and then show the same for now and then make the comparison, right?

You don't? Oh, well. **** me this is crap conversation then.

The Left-Wing Terror Memeplex

Here’s how the nature of political violence works now.
1 Oct 2025 ~~ By Christopher F. Rufo

Many of us who work in politics have felt sickened since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. We sense that a line has been crossed, perhaps permanently.
For years, the Left had accused conservative intellectuals of fomenting “stochastic terrorism”—incendiary rhetoric that inspires violence. This accusation was used to purge conservatives from social media, and, during the Biden administration, contributed to the F.B.I.’s decision to monitor conservatives, including parents who opposed critical race theory. The Left sought to use the stochastic terrorism construction as an all-purpose censorship tool.
This year, the tables have turned. Donald Trump is in power and left-wing violence has surged. Even The Atlantic, which previously seconded the idea of stochastic terrorism, has now conceded that political violence from the Left outstrips that from the Right.
After studying several recent incidents of left-wing terrorism, I want to articulate some initial thoughts about what I call the “left-wing terror memeplex.” This system, in which left-wing narratives inspire decentralized acts of violence, has four elements: prestige narratives, radicalized memespaces, copycat models, and disturbed individuals.
The memeplex is not organized like the older model of left-wing political terrorism, which relied on organized groups (such as the Weather Underground and Black Liberation Army), decentralized cells, ideological formation, and meticulous planning. By contrast, the memeplex is decentralized, mediated through the Internet, and, on the surface, appears unorganized. Left-wing media and political figures peddle narratives through the digital sphere; an individual commits an act of terrorism inspired by those narratives; and the media and political figures pretend that the two are unrelated and that the terrorist was a “lone wolf.”
But if you dig beneath the surface, it becomes apparent that these dots are often connected and that the memeplex, though decentralized, is designed to radicalize disturbed individuals and generate bloodshed—with plausible deniability for political actors. In other words, the progressives who seed the memeplex are fomenting precisely the “stochastic terrorism” that they previously decried.
~Snip~
The psychological profile of these individuals has changed, too. The left-wing terror memeplex has sought to manipulate sexual ideologies and drive emotionally unstable loners and losers into violence. The alleged Kirk assassin, Annunciation school shooter, and Nashville school shooter all experienced sexual disorders, had troubled relationships with families, and spent an inordinate amount of time in the radicalized memespace, where they built the desire for death. Like in the film The Manchurian Candidate, the memeplex operates to remove “guilt and fear” through brainwashing and political conditioning—but, this time, in a totally decentralized and depersonalized manner.
~Snip~
Eventually, we will also have to grapple with the proliferation of disturbed young Americans willing to commit themselves to nihilistic ideologies and engage in political violence. Our country is awash in DSM diagnoses, psychiatric drugs, and psychological decomposition. Not much can be done about these factors in the short term, but we should begin the conversation now, with no regard for political correctness or undue deference to the medical establishment.
The coming years will be a significant test for the left-wing terror memeplex. The Trump administration would do a great service to the country, and to the troubled young people caught in its web, if it took steps to dismantle it.

Commentary:
Democrat Socialists of America left-wing violence has surged. Real violence. Murder, assaults, etc. Left-wing violence is really happening.
It is funded and condoned by Leftists.
But back up just a bit. Earlier in the article there was discussion about claims made by the DSA-Left that Conservative rhetoric might lead to violence. But there never really was right-wing violence, was there?
I sense a false dichotomy here -- on the one hand, DSA-Left concern that right-wing rhetoric might cause violence, and other hand, actual DSA-left violence leads to deaths. Those two sides do not balance. It's not a case of "tables being turned". The Left had a tactic involving censorship and now the Left has a tactic involving violence. The Right has, on the whole, just been having discussions. Let's not act like tables are turning, pendulums are swinging, or shoes are on different feet. The DSA-Left seeks power and uses various tactics. That's what's going on. That's the only thing that's ever been going on.

Our analysis of terrorism trends in the United States shows that, indeed, left-wing violence has risen in the last 10 years, particularly since President Donald Trump’s rise to political prominence in 2016, although it has risen from very low levels and remains much lower than historical levels of violence carried out by right-wing and jihadist attackers. More contentious politics in the United States and the expansion of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement appear to have reenergized violent left-wing extremists. The left-wing movement as a whole has not returned to its violent heights of the 1960s and 1970s, but the number of terrorist incidents involving left-wing extremists so far this year puts 2025 on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades. Moreover, 2025 marks the first time in more than 30 years that left-wing attacks outnumber those from the far right.

Indeed, the increase in left-wing attacks is particularly noticeable because attacks from right-wing perpetrators have sharply declined in 2025. This decline is striking, and explanations are speculative. One possibility is that many traditional grievances that violent right-wing extremists have espoused in the past—opposition to abortion, hostility to immigration, and suspicions of government agencies, among others—are now embraced by President Trump and his administration.

Left-Wing Terrorism Incidents Are on the Rise

The first half of 2025 was marked by an increase in left-wing terrorist attacks and plots in the United States, which continues a trend noticeable over the last decade. In absolute terms, left-wing incidents are on track in 2025 to reach historically high levels in the last 30 years, as shown in Figure 1.

From 1994 through 2000, there was an average of 0.6 left-wing incidents annually; in the following decade, that figure doubled to 1.3 a year. Numbers began to grow substantially, however, in 2016, and from 2016 to 2024, they averaged 4.0 a year. Through July 4, 2025 (thus excluding the Kirk attack), there were five left-wing attacks or plots, which sets a trajectory for a record-breaking year in the last 30 years.

This elevated number of left-wing incidents is even more striking when compared with the number of incidents classified under other ideological orientations. Left-wing terrorist attacks and plots as a percentage of all terrorist attacks and plots were at a record high in the first half 2025, although the decline of other forms of terrorism plays a significant role in this relative increase.

Left-Wing Terrorism Hits 30-Year High

28 Sep 2025 ~~ By Eric Mack

An in-depth look at the ideology of domestic terror attacks in the U.S. has revealed that 2025 set a 30-year high for radical left extremism, according to the nonpartisan Center for Strategic & International Studies.
"The first half of 2025 was marked by an increase in left-wing terrorist attacks and plots in the United States, which continues a trend noticeable over the last decade," according to CSIS analysts Daniel Byman and Riley McCabe. "In absolute terms, left-wing incidents are on track in 2025 to reach historically high levels in the last 30 years."
Not only is the left more violent, but the right is markedly less violent under President Donald Trump this year.

"Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law," Trump's executive order signed last week read. "It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals.
"This campaign involves coordinated efforts to obstruct enforcement of Federal laws through armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement officers, and routine doxing of and other threats against political figures and activists.

"Our analysis of terrorism trends in the United States shows that, indeed, left-wing violence has risen in the last 10 years, particularly since President Donald Trump's rise to political prominence in 2016," the study noted.
"More contentious politics in the United States and the expansion of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement appear to have reenergized violent left-wing extremists."
Still, the left is not as violent as it was last century, according to the study.

Commentary:
The main reason for the uptick in violence is that the lies being heaped upon the average American citizen are being exposed for what they are...
Then again, we have truly seen that the Left mainly led by the CPUSA has been learning from the past failures of the SLA, Weathermen, Ecoterrorist groups ALF and ELF.
The CPUSA promotes its dedication to human rights and personal liberties alongside communism, which it heralds as the only guarantor of those freedoms. Combined with a desire for violent confrontation and rejection of state authority, some on the far left have used social justice issues such as racial equality and immigration rights as a pretext to engage in violent retribution against symbols of the state. This is most prominently seen today in the use of black bloc tactics during protests, which ideological opponents have seized on to cast black bloc and Antifa as organized and unified groups. Anarchist groups such as the Youth Liberation Front are more organized on a local level but have no cohesive national network linking chapters across the country.
Democrats couldn't beat President Trump fairly at the Polling Booth so they're trying to beat him with all the violence they can muster on the Streets...
Meanwhile, for a couple of years we heard FBI's Wray tell us that 90 percent of terrorism in America was committed by Christians.
To this day, the only thing the DSA Marxist Leftists point to the protest on J6 that went sideways for a few hours (thanks to 274 FBI plants, we now learn).
Some things this study gets right, such as the increasing violence and terrorism from the left...but other things it gets terribly and sadly wrong.

The entire Democrat party is a terrorist organization.

NIJ is research division of DOJ.
Under Biden (and prior administrations), the DOJ was separated from the executive branch.
The notion of DOJ being co-opted by the executive, is something that has only existed this year in 2025.
Haha when was the DOJ seperate from the executive branch? If I recall he president picked the head and he/she was actually a member of his cabinet.

And been that way for 200 plus years

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is not structurally independent of the President, as it is part of the executive branch. However, there is a strong tradition and internal policy of operational independence, which is meant to prevent political influence from interfering with legal judgments, particularly in criminal investigations.

The constitutional framework
  • Executive branch control: Under the U.S. Constitution, the President is the head of the executive branch and has the duty to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed". The Attorney General, who leads the DOJ, is a presidential appointee who serves at the President's pleasure and reports directly to them.
  • No constitutional amendment: Making the DOJ or Attorney General independent would require a constitutional amendment to remove the power to prosecute from the executive branch.
Norms and policies for independence
  • Post-Watergate policy: Following the Watergate scandal, the DOJ adopted internal policies designed to insulate it from White House interference. These policies include rules that restrict contact between White House staff and DOJ officials regarding specific criminal cases.
  • Attorney General's role: As former Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox explained, the Attorney General is a political ally but not a servant of the President. Their ethical obligation is to apply the law in a "fair, even-handed, and disinterested way".
  • Insulation from partisan considerations: The Justice Manual, which guides DOJ attorneys, instructs that all "legal judgments" must be "impartial and insulated from political influence".
