Women have no hobbies
To women, anything a man enjoys is selfish. They want us to do the boring things they want to do like go shopping.

I never think of them as hobbies, but I golf, bowl, ride a couple bikes, and only stopped playing tennis when my lower extremities objected. I suppose I am in the habit of surfing YouTube...until I'm forced to quit.

Men's hobbies are an external locus to themselves. The collect, build objects and accomplish things with hobbies.

Most women's hobbies IS themself, an /internal/ locus. They are raised that the central focus of their interest and activities is themselves, make-up, hairdos, fashion, exercise, family, with the express purpose of being attractive to and attracting men.

So men see women as having no hobby at all they can point to while women see men as being interested in these silly "things".

2 of my hobbies are not on the list

TV Blogging

Collecting reptiles as pets is not very appealing to the women. Snakes are not popular. I don’t like or need them around me. Certainly not inside the house.

Lol, do what the hell you want with your free time. Why worry what she thinks. They bitch about it just tell them they are one of your many ho, so get over it.

How come women have no hobbies
They do, it's called Starbucks, although that is probably more of an addiction than hobby.

Not really true...
Sewing, knitting, and various crafts from paper to scrapbooks. Needlepoint.

These things are productive. Not exclusively for women but traditionally so.
Some guys like needlepoint too. Why? I really don't know or care. I have my hobbies (lots of them) but they stem from necessity and not being able to purchase exactly what I want.
Wanted a tool bag for my tools....couldn't find one so I began working in leather. Wife wanted a strap for her smart watch and couldn't find one she liked. So I made her one that she likes.

And if you stopped with the insults for women maybe one of them would do something nice for you and make you something you can't buy.

You all need to get out more. My daughter (23) has a Geico. My sons girlfriend has a snake.

never met a woman with a hobby
No crocheters, or knitters, or doll collectors, or antique collectors, or all things Chicken, collectors, or painters/artists, or stain glass window makers, or sewers or quilt collectors, or quilt makers, or scrap bookers, or photographers, or bird watchers, or basket weavers, in your life? Not even your mom?

My hubby has a few hobbies and they all cost money....thank god he sells some of his collections to buy more of it...

It first started with collecting movies, VHS at first, then Dvd, then Blue Ray, and now Steel books.....

Sigh.... Any movie that ever existed sits in my house, in one form of media or several forms....even all the Disney movies...there is no more room, damnit! He finds special releases, buys them and sells them on eBay at a profit, to pay for this hobby, or partially pay for it.

If the Apocalypse comes and we lose satellite, we are all set for entertainment! Food? Who cares about that...?

And then he and a buddy of his, collects anything JAWS....Oh gees, that... fills another room in the house! Plus the cost of trips to Martha's Vineyard on JAWS reunions/vacations....

My current one is Galactic Civilizations IV.

I just got that one not long ago, it is a lot of fun. Still trying to figure it out.

Been spending too much time in Diablo 4 lately.

I collect beer glasses, drink glasses, and shot glasses as well.

I also golf. Just found out they are building a new two story range not far from me that will have "climate controlled" bays. Here in the mid-west that is a game changer...can hit all year round.

Outside of those two, obsessing about retirement is my other hobby. Read books, listen to multiple pod-cast. Always making adjustments to my retirement planning spreadsheets.

Book reading isn't a hobby, it's a lifestyle.

Currently re-reading Red Storm Rising by Clancy and a book on the Battle of Tannenberg. (1914)
