The Times reported that one source told the newspaper that investigators asked about Trump showing the map to people while on board an airplane.

Another source said that investigators seemed to believe that Trump showed it to at least one adviser after leaving office, while another speculated the map may have been shown to a journalist working on a book.

More broadly, investigators are working to determine why Trump had a trove of classified documents at his Florida club and home.
