In a Republic, actually
‘Top Donald Trump adviser and tech CEO Elon Musk said that’s he’s “had enough” and that a lawsuit is “inbound” after a Democratic commentator called him a “thief” and a “Nazi” live on CNN this week.

Former New York congressman Jamaal Bowman drew some on-air distancing from host Abby Phillip on CNN Tuesday after his inflammatory comments about Musk, in a wild rant that went viral on social media.

“He’s incompetent, he’s a thief, he’s a Nazi, and people don’t trust him, period,” said Bowman in a panel discussion on Thursday’s CNN NewsNight.’

Musk has only himself to blame.

Musk may not be a Nazi, but he is a fascist.

And it’s true that Musk is incompetent, a thief, and that people don’t trust him.

Specifically state what Musk has said or done that would make him a fascist.

No. You guys have made numerous claims about Democrats that you have not supported. So nobody has to show you anything, because if we do, you will deny it. Musk is a fascist and so is Trump.

In the end the final solution will be scorched earth on various areas of our nation. To many people with gripes from those with power or fellow employees or citizens and perhaps a percentage of them having their families affected negatively from it. WMD's will eventually be made available to those with resolve. Difficult to remain free or what we call free. We will all be surveilled, and we will all have individual signals from our bodies that will be tracked from technology. And you will win out for your views on racism against people you believe to be abused in rights for it. All will be under control of all mighty state.

It’s hardly Musk fault that dembots are unhinged and have to resort to personal attacks and inflamed rhetoric and lies to attack him

I do hope he is able to drive these unhinged dembots into personal bankruptcy with the judgements he can obtain

I think it was a rhetorical question, nobody actually expected you to point to anything, because we all know you can’t. We know it’s mere projection

And you're a card carrying member of the KKK! Don't you deny it!

Your kind of logic about Trump and Musk is just as silly that, IM2!

That little salute thing? That's enough for people to label him a Nazi. He's a public figure.

Unfortunately, he's a rich and powerful public figure, and he has the money to intimidate people with lawsuits. Hopefully, Bowman gets a GoFundMe going to defray costs.

Nah, the resistance is probably coming in the form of DC-area investors who are watching their residential real estate dollars go up in smoke. As new cranes keep going up, no less.
Bessent has a point though. And a good one at that. Spending $20k on an internet campaign to keep a $5mill annual contract or grant makes sense financially.
Even if you have to slander someone.

/---/ We have proof positive that you're a brainwashed libtard moonbat. Just read your posts.

Musk…….Stop calling me names!

I think his other point is this:

“Everyone says, do you have to do it so fast? Like I said, I've only been in this business for 7 weeks. I've only been in DC for 8 weeks. The thing I can tell you is if you don't move fast, the vested interest will weigh you down — Everybody's got lobbyists, I mean think about it, within a 10 mile radius of here, 25% of the GDP of the US pulsates through here every day. And everybody wants to just skim a little.”

I don't agree with what the administration is doing, or how they're doing it, but I understand why they're doing it the way they're doing it. The deeper into the term a president goes, the more things slow down. The less responsive individual members of congress become. They become more disunified as well. They start thinking about their own reelection campaigns. And historical trends being what they are, there's a very good chance that the House will change hands next year, which means the power of the purse also changes hands.

So, from the administration's perspective, if you want to remove all the China from the China shop, you can either schedule a day when the movers can come to the shop, carefully wrap each and every individual piece, box it up, arrange the boxes in the van, and then drive off with it all...or you can just get a bulldozer and wreck the fucking place, and then set it on fire. I think the administration's going with option number two.

I get it. I get why. But there are consequences beyond what happens to the China shop. That would be my admonition.

Trump is great at tearing things down
But he has no plan on how to make it better

As usual, Republicans will leave a mess for Democrats to clean up
