Yep. All sorts of solar being built. I personally know of at least 45 MW of solar that are sitting useless because the grid cannot support the load or because they have been unable to procure the protective relays and switches necessary to complete the installation.

Great investment.

What's the negative effect on the planet? A report stated that if you were to cover the Sahara Desert in solar panels, the knock on effect would destroy the Amazon Rainforest.

So what damage are more solar panels doing elsewhere in the world? There's a possibility they're causing droughts, floods, fires etc..
