I recently read an article that estimated mankind is at least 259 years away from interstellar travel capability. Seems like we're about the same number of years away from fully ditching the combustion engine, maybe even longer. It's really arrogant to assume all power in the US govt and believe that you can transition the entire energy design of a country within your LIMITED TERM of holding power. That's too stupid for even the Brandon Admin to believe they are "that good".

SO --- I'm now thinking they are using this as another angle to DISMANTLE this country economically, culturally, security wise, and demographically to ASSURE enough destruction is achieved to put us on a CONSTANT EMERGENCY BASIS.

The true price of fuel is more like $12 per gallon. When you add the sky high fuel cost to everything else you purchase it's WAY higher than $5. Shipping, farming, all the fuel that goes into producing and delivering everything else needs to be added to the price of Biden/Dem gas. $12 a gallon, the true cost of the Biden/Dem war on fossil fuels.
