Just cleaning the system up a little. As of now, L.A. is still part of the United States. Or vice versa. I can live with a loose confederation of states with a somewhat weaker central government. Then you guys can go to your Democracy route and the Red areas will go the Republic route. Wasting taxpayers' money is a crime in itself. And there is enough of it as it is. Doing it in front of the population is just plain evil. Anyway, California's loss is another areas gain. We need a second canal in central America to bypass the western states ports.
