Kyle Rittenhouse: Teen's homicide trial for Kenosha shootings opens with jury selection

At this point it is clear no one -actually- think Rittenhouse did anything illegal with regard to shooting these people.
Those who argue that point are simply trolling.

true. But that is at least a good third of the country. They can't be ignored. THey have to be ridiculed.

Those who argue that point are simply ANGRY (borne out of fear) that yet another American proves that the ArmaLite Rifle platform (aka AR) is one of the most effective self-defense and home defense weapons systems available and they are NOT going to get another bullshit weapons ban, and they are SEETHING!!

Because they know they want to do things they know we will shoot them for.

Then the mob attacked him. But when Rosenbaum went after him, it was just Rosenbaum, not the mob. Who knows why you can't understand that?

Yeah, an active shooter would have shot every one of your assholes. Kyle shot only those attacking him.

Doh!

You're a moron.

Are you still going with the whole bullshit narrative that Rittenhouse the fired first shot?
I never said or implied that. Why are you like this?

I am saying the crowd reacted to what they perceived. Which was that Kyle was an active shooter.

You guys are so excitable. Settle down.

"Active shooters" don't run away from their targets.

You are a liar.

They run from crowds. And for each person he was running from, he was running toward another. That's what it means to be in the middle of a crowd. Pretty basic stuff.

You can think their perception was off. But they perceived an active shooter. It's a fact. Why you are having a hard time dealing with that is your problem, not mine.

No, they don't run from crowds. They seek out crowds to have more people to shoot.

And he was not "running towards people" and shooting them. He was running away from people who were attacking him and shooting them when they caught up to him and attacked him.

The mob did not "perceive an active shooter". They saw someone fighting back and they attacked as you would expect from a mob.

Not always. Well that was easy.

You are being silly. The defense isn't even going to contest what I said. Just because they perceived him as an active shooter doesn't give them the carte blanche legal right to attack him. So settle down.

The defense won't have to because the prosecution isn't retarded enough to make such a ridiculous claim.

The defense is not going to contest it, because there is no way that the judge will allow such terminology to be used by the prosecution.

Defending yourself from attack is not being an "Active shooter".

I never disagreed. I said the crowd reacted to what they perceived. Like the skateboard guy. He thought he was defending the crowd from an active shooter.

Wrong.
No sane person brings a rifle to a protest, much less then goes alone into the other side.
He clearly deliberately was trying to provoke exactly what happened.
So then he has responsibility for all the consequences.

The protest in Kenosha was valid over a bad cop shooting.
So then Rittenhouse was the bad guy from the start.
Anti democracy, pro elitist police violating the law.

It was not a protest, it was a riot. He brought the rifle to protect property.

He was alone, because the police did not let him rejoin his group.

Rittenhouse was obviously the good guy, which is why you bad guys are hostile to him.

Rittenhouse is winning this trial and the defense hasn't even called its first witness.

No way this kid gets convicted of murder.

Bringing a gun to a protest shows an intent of deliberate murder.
The only reason for any leniency is that he may have been too young to know better, so I am not sure he should have the whole rest of his life ruined?
