In an today´s address the Ukrainian President said that Putin´s war will put an end to him and it just started in Kursk.
Does the Kursk offensive really change the battlefield situation or is it a short lived uprising?

"We see how Russia under Putin is actually moving: 24 years ago, there was the Kursk disaster – the symbolic beginning of his rule; Now it is clear what is the final for him. And also Kursk. The catastrophe of his war. This is always the case with those who despise people and any rules. Russia brought war to others, now it's coming home. Ukraine has always wanted only peace, and we will definitely ensure peace,"
Zelenskyy stressed."

Putin says the Ukrainian Kursk offensive aims at creating a better negotiation position - but he sees no point in negotiations. On another occasion Putin said the advance of Russian troops in Dombas and Novorossiya accelerated by 150 %.

"Ukraine’s armed provocation on the Russian border aims to bolster Kiev’s position in future talks, but talks with a government that attacks civilians make no sense, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

He made the statement when opening a meeting about the situation on the Russian border.

"It is now clear why the Kiev regime refused our proposals to return to the plan for peaceful settlement," Putin said. "The enemy, with the help of its Western masters - it is doing their bidding, and the West is waging war against us using Ukrainians - <...> seeks to improve its negotiating position in the future."

"But what kind of negotiations can we even talk about with people who indiscriminately strike civilians, civilian infrastructure or try to create threats to nuclear power facilities," the president went on to say. "What can we even talk about with them?"

The adviser to the chief of staff of the Ukrainian presidential office, Mikhail Podolyak, said Ukraine could improve its negotiating position with the help of an operation on Russian territory. The European edition of Politico said the attack in Russia’s Kursk Region took place with the approval of the West."

Kursk citizens claim that many Muscovite volunteers are switching to the Ukrainian side.

any comment on this ?

Different reports on how many places in Kursk the Ukrainians currently control are based on whether micro-villages are counted or not.

As I thought. Yet another blunder by the Nazi regime in Kiev.
Ukraine’s invasion (of Kursk) was a major strategic blunder, which will accelerate its defeat. The key determinant of success in a war of attrition is the casualty-exchange ratio, not capturing territory, which Western commentators obsess over. The casualty-exchange ratio in the Kursk offensive decisively favors Russia for two reasons. First, it has caused relatively few Russian casualties because Ukraine’s army effectively overran undefended territory. Second, once alerted to the attack, Moscow quickly brought massive airpower to bear against the advancing Ukrainian troops, who were in the open and easy to strike. Unsurprisingly, the attacking forces lost many soldiers and a huge proportion of their equipment.

To make matters worse, Kyiv removed top-notch combat units from the front lines in eastern Ukraine — where they are desperately needed — and made them part of the Kursk strike force. This move is tilting the already lopsided casualty-exchange ratio on that critically important front further in Russia’s favor. It is no wonder — given what a foolish idea the Kursk incursion is — that the Russians were caught by surprise.

We can believe, however, that this is not an arrogant offensive initiated by the West, since they didn´t drum for a year in advance and give the Russians the opportunity to prepare. Ukraine did so before which is why Russia has to expect such an offensive when it actually cannot be expected. Big Russian mistake.
Zelensky´s official reason for the offensive is driving the Russians out striking distance.

The Nazi regime in Kiev has lost this war due to ignorance. Hundreds of thousands of Ukes are dead all for nothing, but enriching the US war machine and the two political crime families.

Ukrainian soldier in Kursk reading my news

Kursk news, Ukrainian source:

According to the news, the Kursk border with Ukraine was well equipped with fortifications but manned with conscripts and border guards who were afraid of being encircled and gave up on their positions.

1000 square kilometers of Kursk under Ukrainian control, it reaches at least 10 - 15 kilometers away from the border.

Ukrainian commander says the offensive is set to reach far beyond the Kursk region. It could even be Moscow.

While the offensive is ongoing in general, the Ukrainians are in the defense in several areas due to the Russian reaction.

Intense Russian aviation.

The Ukrainian troops are not only advancing but build defenses everywhere and occupy abandoned Russian defenses.
