Oh Candy my poor thing...anyone who would post..."I like professional politicians." is obviously terribly confused and apparently has failed to learn anything from history.I can't agree my sweet Candycane. It is the same old song of vote for the lesser evil. Trump appears to be the MUCH lesser evil than the notorious lying BJ protector.
I understand that in our system, you have Chocolate of Vanilla and if yourâe a fan of Strawberry or Pistachio Almond, youâre screwed so you vote for what you hate less, Chocolate or Vanilla. I get it.
When you accuse others of being unprincipled though I call you out on it when your support is behind a candidate that doesnât share much in common with you except your Party identity. Either that or all of the âconservativesâ who decried tax increases for years are suddenly for themâŚ.
I find Trump an obvious choice over Cankles. It is not a difficult choice.
What I find hypocritical of lefties like you, is your disdain for Trump who is a progressive like you, and your love of a lying corrupt criminal neocon owned by the 1%. How could you be so blind....and so hypocritical?
Well, some of us are like you; and some like me have advanced beyond remedial politics. I like professional politicians. I mean, if you were on trail for rear ending a car and had $1,200 on the line in small claims court, youâd want freakinâ Perry Mason, Matlock, Bobby Donnell, Ally MacBeal, Michael Kouzak, Johnny Cochran, Oliva Pope, Alan Dershowitz and freakin Antonin Scalia sitting next to you at the defendantâs table. If you were having a wart removed from your elbow, youâd want Michael Debakey, Trapper John, Hawkeye Pierce, Marcus Welby, McDreamy, Eleanor Gray etc⌠doing the surgery. If you had a horse in a horse race, youâd want the top Jockey (nobody comes to mind right away). But for some reason, there is a small group of candyassed âpatriotsâ who think we should get amateurs to run our government with little to no understanding of diplomacy, intergovernmental relations, geopolitics, or (in Drumpfs case) an understanding on what the President does. The reason? Over time, it is believed that everyone becomes corrupt.
Drumpf has beat you to it by becoming corrupt already it seems. But hey, itâs a philosophical difference. I donât get the philosophy but government at the federal level is complicated. In many cases, it is needlessly complex but that complexity is there and needs serious decision makers to navigate itâs statutes. You just canât fire everyone in the room and the problem goes awayâŚ.
Good luck trotting out the B team.
History:
The US has the highest standard of living of any nation ever.
The US has the highest per capita income of any nation ever.
The US has the strongest military ever assembled of any nation ever.
The US has the most patents of any nation ever.
The US has the most nobel prize winners of any nation ever
The most millionaires, the most productive workforce, and the most benevolent/benign government relative to itâs capability ever.
History is firmly on my side.
Now itâs your job to tear down your country. I know this is what youâve been thirsting forâŚhave at it little man.
I could be wrong, but it might be Mitt Romney with the Koch brothers funding him. We will see...
