Seems like they had evidence to get a warrant

Evidence that they refuse to share with anyone. They also claimed to have evidence that they used to get the FISA warrants they used to spy on the Trump Campaign and White House. That turned out to be lies and innuendo paid for by the Hillary Campaign. I have no trust in the FBI or DOJ anymore. Until I see a totally unredacted affidavit that has been fact-checked by a neutral source I'm not going to believe the DOJ's protestations.

And the DOJ had to resort to going to a MAGISTRATE who isn't a judge legally or effectively AND who had recused himself from a case involving Trump earlier because of bias to get their warrant.
