The Founders knew that no significant decisions should be decided by popular vote. They also entered into a compromise between the "big" states and the "little" states, which created the Senate and the Electoral college. Is that compromise now obsolete?

Even though the D's LOST the popular vote this time, they believe that they have imported enough government-dependent third world wretches, and can get them naturalized in due course, so that they would never lose another popular vote in at least two generations.

What do you think?

This has been tried time and time and time again and it never goes anywhere. There's no reason to think this latest attempt would either.
If the DNC ever gets power again, that will be the first thing they do

They need an Amendment passed by two thirds of each House, and then three fourths of the several States to ratify it. Not happening.
I think maybe they will just get an angry mob with guns together like they normally do and start burning things.

We need to keep the Electoral College. Otherwise a few states, IE California, New York and a few others will decide the president. No need for any people in the other states even bothering to vote

I do like how the Democrats have completely revealed themselves as 100 percent anti-American. They are pinning their future on getting voting rights to the 20 million illegals they have brought into the country.

A Constitutional amendment is the proper way to pursue it. But I would vote against such a change.

You do realize that California and New York are losing electoral votes, while Texas and Florida are gaining. They are between those two in total votes.

This notion that the children of immigrants can be assumed to vote democrat as soon as they turn 18 is mistaken.

I realize that many are leaving those areas yes. I also realize that they still hold more than say South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho combined.
While a lot of people believe that only conservatives are leaving those states that is not entirely true. there are a number of democrat cult voters that are leaving as well that are still willing to vote for the exact same policies that were in the states they have left. They are still having children that they are bringing up with the same ideology that makes them vote democrat

Lots of Californians moved here to TN but they are mostly conservatives, and the liberals will never outnumber the conservatives already here.
