When you look at nonsense such as that you must ask yourself....if the Sun suddenly went out...what would happen? Would that magical CO2 molecule keep us warm?

This is quite possibly the dumbest defense of the theory the sun is causing global warming I have ever heard.

Then you're pretty stupid. The claim that a trace gas "controls" global temperature is absurd. Were the Sun to go out the Earth would, within hours, begin freezing. Within days it would be a block of ice. No amount of CO2 could prevent that. The solar activity is at levels not seen for over 700 years. The last time they were this low we got to enjoy a "Little Ice Age".

Feel free to whistle Dixie, but you and the whole "theory" of AGW is wrong. Catastrophically so.

If we can figure out how to do that then problem solved and we can burn away.

Then the CO2 started rising in the atmosphere because of the burning of trees, which are made of carbon, in large number by human. This has continued to increase the last 250 years adding in coal, oil, and natural gas. Additional CO2 that is emitted into the atmosphere every year is 35 billion tons.

The debate on this ended 15 years ago among scientists. We know Global Warming is real and accelerating. The denial industry spends billions trying to confuse people and they have had success because people naturally don't want to believe such a large and scary thing is happening. Cognitive dissonance has been harnessed by the denial industry.

It is all mute.

Soon enough the whole human race is going to be faced with something it has never seen. And it won't be pleasant by any stretch of the imagination. A new mass extinction has already started.

That's funny considering 99.97% consist of gases other than CO2.
