The main concern is not the only concern – or the most compelling.

Of concern is Patel’s loyalty to Trump – an insurrectionist, criminal, and convicted felon – not to the rule of law or the Constitution.

Of concern is a partisan hack and liar – propagating ridiculous lies such as President Biden attempting to ‘rig’ elections.

Biden’s case has absolutely nothing to do with Trump.

If someone stole classified documents and hid them from the government, don’t you think they should be prosecuted? Or is that lawfare?

Trump was president and had the right to do classify those documents. There is most certainly some gray area there. Biden on the other hand had absolutely no right to have the documents that he had. I consider it lawfare when the law is not applied equally to both political parties and it clearly has not been.

Trump has yet to formally say whether he actually declassified them. Until then, the DoJ would assume anything marked classified is classified.

It’s not actually a grey area. It’s common sense.

It’s definitely NOT a grey area that obstruction of justice and witness tampering is illegal.

The 5th circuit has been overturned on some really absurd rulings in the last few years.

Like really badly.

Take Murthy v Missouri for example. The 5th circuit is just making up rules and ignoring other rules for political purposes.
