Good to see him hanging out with Gretzky. Fron what I can glean second hand he appears to be a man who believes in the Rule of Law and ensuring good agents and police are rewarded, he doesn't want his agency and nation tarnished with bad apples and abusers of power.
Wayne was one of the lucky ones, the smart ones, he got out because he was able to for obvious reasons.
Mr. Patel probably knows better than ever the level of abuses Canadian citizens are suffering from at the hands of the Creepy Ones. I'm sure that Wayne, like many Canadians; couldn't put his finger on it when he lived here but most Canadians just know something is amiss even if they can't articulate it, nor do they want to believe it.
This is no different than in many covert police states that citizens live under, often without understanding until years after the natural collapse occurs.
