"Karmelo Anthony indicted for murder in stabbing death of Austin Metcalf at Frisco ISD track meet

Karmelo Anthony, the now 18-year-old accused of fatally stabbing another teen during an altercation at a Frisco ISD track meet in early April, was indicted for murder by a Collin County grand jury on Tuesday.

Anthony, who was 17 at the time of the incident, was arrested on April 2 in connection with the stabbing death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a track meet at Kuykendall Stadium.

The teen, who is facing a first-degree murder charge, has been on house arrest since being released on a reduced bond on April 14. If convicted, Anthony could face a possible sentence of 5-99 years or life in prison. In the Texas criminal justice system, 17-year-olds are considered adults.

Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis announced that his team worked to present evidence to the grand jury for weeks."

Finally, he's been charged. If he's not found guilty, I'm afraid whites will riot and burn down Old Navy, Ikea, and Golf Pro stores.

From a rival school, now it begins to add up. Supposedly much video evidence against the stabber. Kids with cellphones? He still gets out on ankle bracelet with low bail, less than Trumps bail for some 40 yr old made up rape story by the DEM cat lady.

Imagine a world where a person murders a child in cold blood, in public, and a shitstain lefty judge releases him on "reduced bond".

That's the left in America.

Tragic. You would never expect being stabbed to death over such a thing. When around blacks...you can't relax.

The PD there released footage of the stabbing the other day but just to certain people in the media.

No indication of any type of altercation, verbal or otherwise, the POS just walked up and stabbed him.

UGH. So sad. So stupid. Try to cheer up.

The prison sentence could be as short as five years? You would think that something bigger like 20 years would be the shortest sentence for a murder case.

God bless you and the victim's family always!!!

first degree murder. life or long term incarceration or death penalty. Does Texas still have death penalty?

Stupid kid, with a chip on shoulder? brought on by parents and public school system, gutter media and democrats. Everything he, his parents, his attorneys did from that point on only showcased what bad people they are.

Let's see if the left will defend another black murderer. They've so far defended mutilating kids, killing the unborn, kiling and burning and raping, torturing, starving jews, defending Iran, defending rioters and arsonists, defending terrorists, defending lying traitorous media, defending rapist illegals, defending murdering illegals, defending trans, pedos, child traffickers, sexual assaulters defending insider traders, defending election theft, ......

Why would there be bail in a civil suit? You are wrong yet again. Hyperbole is an ugly thing.

That was not bail, dumbass. He had to pay a fine in order to appeal. There is no ******* bail in a civil suit.

OK BOND. You got me on technicality. Still less than killers bail. Is Trump more of a flight risk?
How could he be a flight risk on home incarceration? If he flees, they will just arrest whoever was supposed to be watching him. I think the judge is letting him stay at home because he knows he will likely be in prison for a very long time when he is convicted.
