Right after the 2020 election, my wife's son was here for Thanksgiving and we went to breakfast. He and I are polar opposites: I'm straight, he's gay. I'm conservative, he's a leftist.
I was hoping politics wouldn't come up during breakfast but he kicked it off immediately.
